Chet Cross is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, including 15 years at the C-suite and Board level. He has a proven track record of driving strategic turnarounds, operational excellence, and global growth. Chet most recently served as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations at Chemtura Corporation, where he led a comprehensive $100M cost reduction initiative through the reorganization of procurement and manufacturing operations. He also spearheaded the company’s Operational Excellence program, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Previously, Chet was Executive Vice President of Engineered and Performance Industrial Products at Chemtura, where he held full P&L responsibility for a $1.7 billion portfolio. In this role, he played a key part in reshaping the business, crafting a strategic exit plan for the company. Prior to his time at Chemtura, Chet spent over 20 years at Hercules/Ashland in various leadership roles, further honing his expertise in driving sales and margin growth.

Beyond his corporate experience, Chet has served as a Strategic Partner and Board member for private equity firms within the specialty chemicals sector. Known for his collaborative yet decisive leadership style, he excels at building high-performing teams and navigating complex challenges.
Chet is a retired US Army officer and a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He currently resides in Virginia, where he enjoys boating, hunting, and fishing.
